13 sierpnia 2009 - Luzern, Sternmattstrasse. Ponoć do końca września miały zostać zastąpione nowymi przegubami - ciekawe co wyszło z tych planów. W czasie robienia tego zdjęcia i w oczekiwaniu na ów trolejbus czułem na sobie jakieś spojrzenie i dopiero po paru chwilach zauważyłem, że jakaś frau wyczuła wraży słowiański element stojący pod jej oknem.

13 sierpnia 2009 - Lucerne, Verkehrshaus der Schweiz. Electric tram motorcar Ce1/2 No 4 Vevey-Montreux-Chillon VMC 1888. The VMC tram used the arrangement developed by Werner von Siemens in 1881. There were two overhead copper tubes, forming the two sides of the circuit, with slots in their undersides. The current was transferred to the tram by a pair of contacts on a sledge towed by twin insulated copper cables. The traction motor was situated between the axles and drove one of them through gear-wheels with herringbone-shaped teeth. The double-deck body was considered a special tourist attraction. 13 sierpnia 2009 - Lucerne, Verkehrshaus der Schweiz. Horse-drawn tramcar C2 No 27 of the Zurich Tramway Company 1883. The network of the Zurich horse-tram was 8,7 kilometres long and had 44 stops. The Zurich Tramway Company had started in 1882 with 20 coaches and 81 horses from the Ardennes. Since the horse-tram had been introduced in Geneva in 1862, the construction of coaches had made great progress. While those in Geneva still required the use of two horses, one of the lightweight Zurich cars could be drawn by a single horse. 1,65 t 16 seats, standing room for 10 people.

Instead of having to walk, from 1966, Zürich Airport passengers were able to ride to the waiting aircraft in a specially developed apron bus. The unusual design in the form of semitrailer is based on the need for the lowest possible overall height. The tractor unit, a petrol-driven American Ford C700 has a six-speed automatic transmission and is conspicuous for the low driver’s cab. The semi-trailer, a monocoque construction by the Zürich coachbuilder Hänni, could carry up to 86 passengers. The absence of drive components in the trailer also enabled it to be kept remarkably low and allowed it to be manoeuvred safely between the aircraft. The vehicle was replaced in 1979 by low floor buses and the newly built finger docks.

It took me about 15 minutes to find a trash bin in which I would be allowed to throw my water bottle - there were bins for compost, for paper or for litter in official luzernian disposal bags. Tip - throw your litter to bins situated near to bus stops, they're not restricted in any way.

15 października 2005 - Luzern, Matthof, Osiedle Różowych Domów ;-) 268+308. Lucerna jest obok Lozanny jedynym miastem w Szwajcarii w którym eksploatuje się przyczepy do trolejbusów. Przyczepy są niskopodłogowe i pochodzą z lat 1998-2005. Warto zwrócić tu uwagę na malunki na chodniku wyznaczające czoło pojazdu i zakres najechania dziobem, żeby zmieścić przyczepę na zawrotce i nie rozjechać różyczek.
