The other operating car on the day of my visit was this Lille-Roubaix car of 1906, pictured from a road bridge that crosses the canal. Although this is a working waterway, the canal path is popular with local walkers and cyclists.

14 czerwca 2009 - Lille (FR) – Marquette. Tramway Touristique de la Vallee de la Deule. Car 307 ready to leave the AMITRAM depot for a trip along the line. It’s hard to believe that this tiny tram ran on the same Mongy line as the articulated Breda monsters of today! On Sunday afternoons, two trams provide a 30-minute service. Although it is publicised as a local tourist attraction, the tramway is primarily a place where the museum group can run its restored trams.
